The Cardiolology Technician
Upon graduating from the Cardiology Technician program at Medical Careers Institute, you will receive a diploma as a Cardiology Technician and will be eligible to take the Certification Examination offered by the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Cardiology (EKG) Technician Training Program Details
The Cardiology Technician program trains students to assist physicians in diagnosing heart ailments. Students will be exposed to the technology, equipment, techniques and processes in preparation for a career as a Cardiology Technician.
The Cardiology Technician Program focuses on educating students in the following areas:
- Electrocardiograph (EKG) machine operation
- Holter Monitor operation
- Stress Test monitoring
- Cardiovascular Anatomy and Physiology
- Electrophysiology
- Pharmacology
- Arrhythmia Recognition
- Hands-on Practice (Laboratory)
